Is there anything better than finding a good use for all those dry leaves sitting around during fall, especially it involves decorating your home? Sure, lots of dry leaves full of color!

This was truly one of the most simple and inexpensive projects I've ever worked on, but also one of the most beautiful and striking. When I started to collect leaves, I had it in my mind to put them in a glass vase with some others I already had on the table, but when I got home, it occurred to me to give them a little bit of color so they match my others accessories and decorations around house.

I used a thin beige yarn and tied each leaf to make a garland. The garland is hanging in my living room window, it’s simple but fun and welcoming. I love the combination of natural textures with vibrant solid colors.

Imagine putting together a bunch of these leaves in big centerpiece, or making a fall wreath for the door using your favorite autumn colors, it would look so beautiful, don't you think?

What would you make with them?
